Dominic has been an Action Sertoma member since Sept. 1992. He attended the New Member Indoctrinations at the Sertoma Centre in Oct. 1992 and was given a tour of the facility. He learned, at that time, why he became a member of Action Sertoma. He was asked to serve as Sgt at Arms right away and happily accepted. He joined our club’s board in 1993 and has held every club position. In 1994-1995 Dom accepted the position of VP of Sponsorship, President Elect 1995-96, President 1996-97, Chairman of the Board 1997-98, Director 1998-99, Distinctions: Governor Elect 1998-99 and District Governor 1999-2001, Club VP of Membership 2001-02, Secretary 2008-13, VP of Social 2013-18, Director and assisted our club Treasurer 2018-June 2023. Dom worked on our club’s major fundraiser Sponsorship Ball, A Touch of Class at the Martinque, as Ticket and Raffle Ticket Chairman 1995-2003. In 2004, the time came to redesign our major fundraiser and Dom volunteered to be on the committee. Dom along with a few other club members came up with the idea of a Fall Fest. Since 2005, Dom holds the Chairman position for our Annual Fall Fest. He has won the Sertoman of the Year Award, District Sertoman of the Year twice, Regional Sertoman of the Year and has received the Sertoma Presidential Lifetime Service Award.
